Open the Settings App. Go to Network and Internet. On the left click Mobile Hotspot. On the right, you will find that password - you can also set a new password on that settings page. Thanks. I need to connect my TV to my laptop using wifi. As I searched, I found out that I should use Wifi Direct to solve the problem but I can not find my Wifi Direct Setting anywhere. There are lots of articles stating that it is on Devices/ Bluetooth & other Devices at the top right or somewhere else but there is nothing related to Wifi Direct.

Since only the mobile devices connected via Wi-Fi Direct following the steps above, then I suggest that you try adding your mobile device on your laptop. Follow these steps: Navigate to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices. Click Add Bluetooth or other device. Under Add a device, select Everything else.

My Samsung when connected with USB requires clicking on the Charging screen on the phone to be able to send the contact to Windows 10. If this answers your question - Then mark it so. Then others may find it.

Those are the Wifi options near you that Windows detects. They can be from your neighbors, including your own wifi, or any devices (printer, smart-TV, etc) that provides direct connect. There is no way to get rid of those. But you did the right thing, you can uncheck the"connect automatically" and keep it checked for your own home wifi only.
